It is no secret that I love me some wine. This love goes back way before I became a mama, but now that I am mom that love seems have intensified. haha! Kidding! (or am I?) Anywho! Aside from wine, I love a good Sangria. There’s nothing bad about it! It has wine in it, its sweet, it has fruit in it, so it may or may not be a little healthy 😉 And with summer here there will be many gatherings and parties to host and attend, and what better way of celebrating than with a Sangria!
I am so excited about this post because I am collaborating with Cari from Blondeandbeyoutiful ! She is doing a Sensational Summer Punch (non alcoholic drink).
It looks like it tastes so good! So I cannot wait to try it. & you must check her out! She has the cutest hair and makeup blog posts, and her Instagram is to die for!
This recipe is so easy! Like, really, really easy. But it is oh so delicious! (I am actually having one as I am writing this post!) Here is what you will need…
Ingredients
1 Bottle of wine – (I used blackberry Merlot because that is what I had at home. But you want it to be a sweet one)
1/2 Bottle of club soda
1/2 Cup of Raspberries
1/2 Cup of Strawberries
Orange
Lemon (optional)
Let’s make a Sangria!
Cut the strawberries in half and leave the raspberries hole.
Then I threw them in the pitcher and gave them a little smash .
Slice the orange in thin circles, then in halves, and throw them in the pitcher.
You can now squeeze a little lemon juice if you like it a little tangy 😉
I then poured the bottle of wine and a third of the bottle of club soda. Mix.
You want to let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour so the flavors can just mix well and of course, so it can be nice an cold. 🙂
To Serve
I just served in a couple of glasses of wine and garnished with a strawberry and orange slice.
I had some fruit leftover so I just left it out for us to much on. And that is it! Enjoy!!
Guys, I am not kidding when I tell you that it tastes really good! I hope you guys like it, and as always I’d love to know if you try it out, so please let me know.
Until next time…. x o x o
