Where are all my pale gals at that want to be tan?! I’m right there with you! 😀 I’m so excited about today’s post, I know I’ve kept you guys waiting for a couple of weeks now, but its finally here! I’m sharing my review and demo on the St. Morriz Tanning Mousse! Lets get into it!
Application | Texture | Smell
The mousse comes with an application mitt and it was so easy to use! I put on the mitt pumped a couple of pumps of the product on the mitt and applied to my skin in circular motions. Because it was my first time using this product I started on my tummy, this way if I messed up or it was streaky it wouldn’t be in a body part where it would be noticeable. 🙂 But I had no issues.
The texture of the product was obviously mousse but it was not runny at all and it was easy to apply.
Now, let’s talk about the smell. So it does have a “fake tan” smell. But its not strong at all. I mean I could smell it a little, but when I asked someone else if they could smell it they said no. And once you rinse it off the smell goes away completely.
Before & Afters
As you can tell, I’m pale! HAHA But I’d say it got me a good 3-4 shades darker. It did have a tiny orange hue to it, but nothing crazy. I wasn’t looking like an oompa loompa, don’t worry! 😀
TIP: Do not try to apply a second layer or go over an area where the product has already set or dried, because it can streak. I did it and as soon as I did it I could just tell that it was going to streak. It was a tiny spot, so it wasn’t a big deal. But just stick with circular motions and don’t go over spots after they dry and you’ll be good to go. 😀
The tan lasted about days and it came off pretty evenly. I didn’t get blotchy or have weird tan patches either. However, I didn’t shave all 5 days so that may have something to do with the no blotchy-ness. 🙂
Overall I really did like using St. Morriz Tanning Mousse and will be using it again until I get a natural tan this summer 😀
I hope this was helpful, and if you guys have any questions please leave me a comment.
Until next time!
