Hi everyone! Its been a hot minute since I’ve been on here and a lot has been going on! If you follow me on Instagram then you already know I’m expecting a little one and we are so excited!! But – that’s not why we’re here today, today I’m sharing with you a little recap of our weekend a few weeks back. We spent it at a new fun kid’s indoor playground in Salem, Oregon (Awesome Indoor Playground) and Aquarium. So let’s dive into it!
Awesome Indoor Playground
We started off our afternoon at a new fun place for kids in Salem, Oregon called Awesome Indoor Playground – we got invited before it was opened, and you guys…it was awesome because it’s not just for kids, its for the parents too! But I’m getting ahead of myself, let’s start with the fun stuff for the kiddos.
This place has a zip line, slides, a trampoline, train, a toddler area and so many other fun interactive playground games for kids. What I loved about this place is how their main focus was safety and fun! Parents can walk around the entire structure and be able to see where their kid is at, no more freaking out wondering where your kid is at or having to climb in to look for them. LOL!
Camila’s favorite was the slide! She went on those slides SO many times! They are right up front so parents can enjoy seeing their kiddos slide (and of course take all the pics and videos lol)
While the kiddos get to have some fun, make new friends and get a good workout – us parents can enjoy a beer, wine, coffee as they have a great selection of snacks and food for the kids and also for the parents 😉 I didn’t get to snap any pics of the food because they were not open yet and did not have anything out – but be sure to check out their Facebook page and website for details on prices, food and drink menus!

Cami had the best time, she made a new friend and got to enjoy all that this place has to offer!
Aquarium in Lincoln City
After we had our fun in Salem we headed to Lincoln City to the Aquarium. Camila has been super into sharks, so we took her to the aquarium to check out the sharks.
She loved looking at them and even gave them names haha
Dinner at Rogue Ales & Spirits
After checking out the sharks we were all hungry and headed to Rogue Ales & Spirits, which is like 5 minutes away from the aquarium. We really enjoyed this little place! They had a great view, a little section of toys for kids, of course beer (which I couldn’t have *CRIES*) and yummy food!
And just like that our fun family day came to an end 🙂 We headed home to rest, because this pregnant mamma was tired after all that.
If you’re local, I recommend these spots for a good time with the kiddos. If you’re note local, I hope you enjoyed our little weekend recap.
Until next time…
